Before I ever saw the classic films, I liked tons of people from today, the music, etc. When my mom showed me Breakfast at Tiffany's, I thought it was awesome! That was when my love for classics began. I started looking into it more and more. I soon started watching Audrey Hepburn's films, and I loved them so much. I also saw The Birds and it was such a fantastic, suspenseful film! Alfred Hitchcock's films let me see other actors of that time. Back then, I never heard of Cary Grant, James Stewart, Ingrid Bergman, Grace Kelly, Joseph Cotten, Teresa Wright, and many more that were in his films. I loved them all. I started then watching movies of those actors, which also led me know about other ones, like Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis, Rita Hayworth, Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, William Powell, Sophia Loren, Natalie Wood. Then I started listening to old music, like big bands, rock and roll, mostly the music they had back in those days. I started getting away from what I used to like, and this was becoming my new hobby. Then I got into Fred and Ginger, which are wonderful dancers!!! And after that I became a Ginger Rogers fan. Now I appreciate the old days and their films. Personally, I think today's stars are lame. No class, and it's not the same anymore. At least back then they really knew how to "act" unlike today. I say "Hooray for Classic Hollywood!!!" : )
